Dr. Jason Cannell

I'd like to share a little about myself starting with my greatest source of pride.  I am the father of two amazing daughters who inspire me every day to better myself.  I am married to an amazingly beautiful woman who supports me day in and day out, and together we own a small ranch outside of Hygiene Colorado where we raise horses, goats, chickens and ducks.

Prior to moving to Colorado we served as a U.S. Army family living in multiple locations throughout the country.  I have accumulated greater than 20 years of military service most notably as a Special Operations Flight Surgeon.  I continue to proudly serve as a Special Forces Group Surgeon for the Colorado Army National Guard.

Upon arrival to Colorado I began my community service to Boulder County residents as a board certified Family Medicine physician and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for Boulder Community Health.  I practiced as an employed physician for 10 years while simultaneously contributing to healthcare transformation as a physician leader for Boulder Community Health's Community Medical Associate practices.  Additionally, I became the first Medical Director of a local Accountable Care Organization (ACO) that earned the top quality performance in Colorado for 2018 and 2019.

Utilizing the knowledge we gained from our personal and professional experiences, my wife Rebecca and I opened up this family owned and operated independent Aviation Medicine Clinic in 2020.  As my resume likely portrays, I identify with selfless service.  It is with this that I advocate for all who entrust in me with their personal and professional passions.

Dr. Christine Stone

I live in Longmont with my husband, Bert, who is a carpenter. We have lived in Colorado for many years. We enjoy spending time with our extended network of friends and family, who come to visit us from locales spanning the entire state, from Fort Collins to Grand Junction to Pueblo. Our grandnieces are very excited to have just started grade school (4th and 6th) here in Longmont.

I am a second-generation physician, following in my mothers’ footsteps. I attended medical school at East Tennessee State University and completed my residency training at Emory University in Atlanta. I have experience in a number of different practice settings. I am honorably discharged from the Medical Corps (US Army Reserve), where I had the opportunity to serve at Fort Belvoir, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center.

In 2022, I was designated as an Aviation Medical Examiner by the FAA and am pleased to offer my services to the aviation community in conjunction with Dr. Cannell at Longmont Aerospace Medicine. I maintain a separate private internal medicine practice in Longmont, Remedy Clinic PC. I am a member of the Boulder County Medical Society and the Colorado Medical Society.
